Have you ever traveled somewhere for the first time? Planning a first-time trip somewhere can be daunting. We started TravelNovice to give travelers like you a place to share your travel knowledge and learn from fellow travelers who have already been there. What worked well? What would you do differently next time? What did you absolutely love about a trip? We want to share our own experiences, in the hope that you will share yours, too. And we can all pick up a few “short cuts” that will make our next trip or adventure even better!
On Being Genuine
As our tag line says, TravelNovice is about genuine travel advice from fellow travelers. So what does that mean? We have no illusions of being an exhaustive reference guide to everything you could do, or every kind of activity or place to visit. We won't attempt to catalog and rate all the restaurants, hotels, museums or activities. Instead, we share our own experiences–the places we visited. We invite you to do the same. We know that not everyone will want to follow the same itinerary we used, but that's okay. Take what you can, and share what you know.

Here is how the partnership works:
We will feature the blogger on our blog so he/she can be exposed to more people who love travel. Usually bloggers send us one blog post. It could be their travel story, travel tip or review of some places. We’ll present their articles with their profiles on our website. Then we’ll share it with other community members and also on our social media. This can be an existing blog post on their sites, or a new one. Another way is that we will schedule an interview with selected bloggers and share the interview with our community. Either way works for us.
